My parents always told me growing up, “Do what you love and the money will follow.” Then the Beatles told me you “Can’t Buy Me Love.” Now I’m as confused as this fella.
SALMON, Idaho (Reuters) – A federal firefighter in Idaho is facing arson charges linked to least one blaze in an act that may have been motivated by a desire to produce some firefighting work, officials said on Friday.
Levy Miller, 21, is in Lemhi County Jail charged with starting an August 13 blaze on the outskirts of Salmon, an area of thick forests and natural beauty, officials said. The half-acre blaze was snuffed out quickly by fire crews.
Lemhi County Sheriff Sam Slavin said Miller, who has worked as a firefighter with the federal Bureau of Land Management for two years, persuaded a Salmon teen to start the August 13 fire “to drum up business.”
Quite a sad tale, but starting a fire because business is slow is never a smart answer. Unless you operate a Smores store.
Of course, this tragic tome raises suspicions about other professionals and what they could do to drum up business…

We have people in our area who should have to be “bonded” to buy a Bic…
at least this guy didnt torch his own building for the insurance… Some people here will burn their business… then the court house and jail so they dont have a place to try them and lock them up… That is why the average person has to go out of the area to buy insurance at a reasonable rate… Sad but the sorry people get the “benefits” while those who do right, foot the bill…
