Paying the Toll

It’s easy to forget just how much of our society is being monitored by video cameras. All of those cameras and all of those minutes of tape are bound to pick up a few moments of hilarity.
One camera picked that up when a disgruntled toll booth customer tried to fire a slingshot at a toll booth operator, according to the News Tribune.
The driver tried to shoot a ball bearing at the toll booth, which fortunately did not injure or even hit the operator. Police immediately issued a warrant for Dennis “The Menace” Mitchell.
The driver of the car clearly didn’t stop to think the toll booth was being monitored by a security camera. He probably assumed the authority running the toll booth either let people who drive through without paying go scot-free or realize they could get back at them by the tremendous guilt they are bound to feel.
