As the World Turns Itself In

This is a story that just defies all description. It needs no introduction. It cannot be described. It has to be seen to be believed. It cannot be read, it must be experienced. It is at least nine times more interesting than watching an elephant giving a cow a piggyback ride. No…more…wire…hangers!
JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (ENCToday.com) — Authorities say a Jacksonville woman suspected of robbing a local bank surrendered early Monday morning to the Onslow County Sheriff’s Department and asked that a reward for her arrest be given to an accompanying friend.
A 10-day search came to an end when Lolita Bullock, 45, of Lake Cole Road, entered the lobby of the Sheriff’s Department a few minutes past midnight and turned herself in to the night dispatcher, according to Onslow County Sheriff Ed Brown.
She turned herself in for the $2,500 reward. Well, what are friends for?
Bullock is accused of robbing a Bank of America and had eluded police since May 4 before she turned herself in. And she wouldn’t have gotten away with it if it weren’t for her meddling self.
Sheriff’s deputies said the reward was offered from Crimestoppers, but it looks like her friend may not get it since it doesn’t cover being in the company of a fugitive at the sheriff’s office. Well how is her friend going to cover her bail now?
