Rob bank, ________…
NORTON SHORES, Mich. - A suspected bank robber took a cab to and from an afternoon heist and rounded out his day running errands, including visiting an elementary school, before being caught, police said.
Randy Benka, 55, who has previous robbery convictions in New York City, was charged with bank robbery and faces up to life in prison if convicted. He was being held at the Muskegon County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
Here’s the lowdown: Benka took a cab to the bank, robbed it and then got back in the cab where he reportedly told the driver he robbed a bank. Well, brilliant move smarty pants. Now he knows you’ve gone money on you, so there’s no excuse for not giving him a tip.
He then gave the driver money and a cell phone, and went to an elementary school attended by his daughter where he wanted to give her some money. Must have forgotten to give her some lunch money before she left for home. My mom always did the same thing.
