Look Before You Reap

ONE OF LIFE’S LITTLE LESSONS #4: Always take the time to stop and look at your surroundings before you make any serious decisions because your surroundings can always jump up and attack you, especially if you’re covered in meat and walking through an alligator farm. Chalk that one up to experience.
According to UPI, a man who walked up to a teller and attempted to rob a bank in Boston failed to realize the next customer in line behind him was a police officer.
Sounds more like a coincidence than sheer stupidity, right? Not exactly. The cop was in full uniform.
How could it be worse? I’ll tell you…
- The robber could have tried to rob the bank and the teller could have asked him, “Say, is that a cop behind you in full uniform?”
- The robber could have tried to rob the bank by disguising himself as a cop and getting in line in front of the real uniformed cop.
- The robber could have tried to rob the bank dressed as a fake cop and got in line in front of the real cop and then during the robbery, asked the cop if he could hold his gun for him.
