Break-In Becomes Turned-In

Police officers have a very difficult job. At least this case was closed early, probably so they could go home and catch “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” on time for once.
A man who broke into a building reported the break-in himself, according to the AP.
The burglar sustained some cuts and bruises on his arms and reported to police that he had seen someone else committing the break-in. I’ve heard of returning to the scene of the crime, but bringing the scene to the police is something else.
Police soon learned the witness was in fact the criminal and he was drunk. I should always learn to put the surprising part last.

He was probably so plastered that he thought it was his own house after a while, sobered up slightly, noticed the window he broke through, thought someone else did it, and called the police.
