Chewing tobacco is a nasty habit. It not only stains your teeth, causes mouth cancer and makes your mouth look like a cavern’s entrance, but it also provides police with a massive amount of evidence of your whereabouts.
Two thieves got caught when police found his DNA from a puddle of chewing tobacco at the scene of the crime, according to the AP.
It was more than that. Police said they found a “trail” of the stuff in the bar that they hit. Police traced the DNA in the spit to a couple of cobras.
Police arrested one of the men and gave him a charge of theft. Red Man Chewing Tobacco gave him a lawsuit for defamation of character.
