It never fails to amaze me how so many people can be foiled by candy. Whoever says something is as easy as taking candy from a baby just means they are easily distracted by candy. They are also easily confused by children.
According to the Associated Press, four teenagers in Maryland got caught stealing candy from a store and police tracked them down by following the trail of discarded candy wrappers.
Let me ask the first obvious question: teenagers are stealing…CANDY?!? Did the police catch up with the Little Rascals?
Police said they tracked down the kids thanks to K-9 tracking dogs who followed the discarded wrappers to their hideout where police found them surrounded by more candy wrappers. Apparently, Maryland police have the only police dogs that can track Type-2 diabetes.
All of them were charged with theft and burglary, but their identities were not released. But they can easily be identified by squeezing them hard enough to see if their chewy nougant center oozes out of their orifices.

Umm, what happened to the days when teenagers stole cigarettes? Alcohol? Perscription drugs? Geez, even GUM would have been more hard-*** sounding to steal than getting the five-finger discount on some Hershey’s.
