A Slice of Dumbness
Who doesn’t like pizza? Apparently, not this guy, which would mean that he does since it’s a double negative.
According to the Dayton Daily News, a man got sentenced for stealing a truck load of frozen pizzas, crashing the car during a police chase and then reporting the crashed car as stolen two weeks later.
He stole approximately 840 pizzas and loaded them in his pickup truck because his goal was to break the world record for contracting diabetes.
Police caught up to him during one of his pizza thefts and he crashed the car during the chase. He fled the scene and eluded authorities, but got caught because he reported the same truck as stolen and police had both him and the truck on tape. There’s no word on if he reported the pizzas stolen as well.
He pleaded guilty and got three years in prison where frozen pizzas will just be a fond, distant memory.
