It’s important to be on time for court. Judges are big sticklers for things like schedules, work flow and making sure the car that got you to court on time wasn’t stolen.
This guy learned that last lesson the hard way, according to the Green Summit Dispatch.
He was running late for his court date and decided to steal a truck because he couldn’t trust anyone enough to give him a ride. That list includes himself.
An officer noticed the damage on the window and stopped him. He admitted to the officer to stealing the truck because he had to get to court. Luckily, the officer was more than happy to give him a ride.
