Oil companies, take special note. Yes, you have the right to make money in a capitalist society. But those profits have consequences. Look what your high prices are doing to the American people! Stoners are cutting lines in gas stations to buy snacks!
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. May 4, 2006 (AP)— A man who cut in front of a line of motorists waiting for discounted gas Thursday was arrested after police found suspected marijuana and painkillers in his car.
Police said the 24-year-old wasn’t even interested in the gas, which was being sold at 50 cents less than the normal $2.85 per gallon rate. Capt. Richard Maierle said the man, who smelled of marijuana, wanted a snack.

The man barged to the front of the line about 9 a.m., an hour before the cheap gas went on sale, the newspaper said. The man was arrested and was expected to face drug possession charges Friday.
Well, the first mistake was on the gas station’s part. Don’t make gas $1.50 a gallon and look surprised when there’s “a line.”
But, of course, the unidentified man is totally to blame. Not only was he rude, selfish and obnoxious, he was also driving with drugs in his car to go get munchies. Why not just drive around in a car shaped like a giant doobie?
His punishment? He’ll probably be sentenced to prison where he’ll get his own cell, not have to go to a job, not have to drive to the store for milk and not have to pay for gas for his car in order to do it all. Some punishment.
