Sure, Blame the Dog

Drunk people do some pretty dumb things. Blaming the dog for their behavior is about the dumbest thing they can do because it implies the dog is smarter than them at the time.
The Lancaster Evening Post reports that a man committed drunk driving and blamed it on his dog.
He tried to hail a cab after a night of some heavy arm lifting, but the cab driver wouldn’t take his dog. Why not? Don’t all cabs smell like wet dogs anyway?
So the driver felt he had no choice but to get behind the wheel of the car. Bright move, he would have been better off if he left the dog take the wheel.
He jumped a curb, drove across a lawn and stopped when police turned on the overhead lights. When police asked him how much he had to drink, he said he had “enough.” I think the world has had enough.
