The Ninth DUI is the Charm

There is pushing your luck and there is pushing your luck so far over the cliff that you are still hanging on to it as it careems towards the bottom of the canyon.
A man still facing his eighth charge of driving under the influence earned himself a ninth charge for driving under the influence, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
He actually was facing a three-year prison term for his eighth term, but could get more for the ninth, which is like saying the sun might rise tomorrow morning.
It gets worse. His most recent conviction is the 15th DUI he has received in his lifetime. They should just hold the sentencing hearing at the nearest bar. That way the court knows he’ll show up.

Whatever happened to “Three strikes, you’re out?”. How many times does this guy have to drive drunk before they do something about it?
Does he have to kill someone?

That’s the problem with innocent until proven guilty! Most of the time, they can’t prove them guilty even if it’s obvious!

Yes, he has to kill some one before they do anything about it. Sad as that is, that’s the only way they’ll take notice. I like the idea of countries who at the first offense, simply revoke the license to drive.

welcome to a society where you can go to jail for several years for havin a bag of weed but you have to drive drunk and risk countless lives 7 or 8 times before they decide to give you 3 years
