A Kid is Into Pot

I tell ya, these kids today make me scratch my head and wonder what with their YouTube and their video games and their Razor scooters and their marijuana and their shotguns…
According to KETV, police caught a four year old boy with marijuana after the boy showed them how to use it.
Where did he learn how to use marijuana? Why from his mother, of course! I’m sure their a big hit at the Mother-Son dance, and if not, I’m sure they do a very big one.
Police also found the kids sitting on a shotgun the mother and his boyfriend left on the couch. That’s funny, usually I just lose my car keys in there.
The mother was arrested and a judge will determine if she can still have parental rights. She’ll be lucky if the judge doesn’t determine that her womb has to be cemented shut.

not only should she never get her kids back but the poor 4 year old must think it was his fault. I hope someone helps the kids.

Pot is good for you. It’s medicine. It’s good for adults. It’s good for kids. It prevents cancer. It’s never killed anybody. What would have been REALLY bad is if she gave her kid Aspirin which kills 300 people a year.

I like how you used your reasoning to defend marijuana. Unfortunately, this isn’t a story about benefits/reprocussions of marijuana and/or asprin. Regardless if you think it’s great or not, the simple fact is it is not legal to possess it unless the state allows your phsyician to prescribe it to you.
The child was also found in the presence of a shotgun. By your reasoning, if asprin kills 300 people a year, how many people do guns kill?
I don’t think anyone would be surprised to see you show up on one of the stories on this website, smart guy.

how is pot good for you? and even if it was, it’s illegal. the idea of a child being allowed to do pot is just plain stupid. if pot was good for you, why would it be outlawed in so many states? what are u, an idiot?

1st of all, everyone who believes that pot is either entirely good for you or entirely bad needs to do some reading. The fact is that THC (the chemical in marijuana) has definate medical benefits, which is why not only is pot legal in some states but pills are also being made of the pure THC, mostly to be prescribed to cancer and Crohn’s disease victims, people with severe chronic pain, etc…
Now, having finished schooling you, let me say this: anyone who allows their children to be in a house with any kind of firearm, or chemicals & medications that aren’t properly stored & locked~up, has no right to even try to raise said children. While it takes empathy, imagination, intelligence and slew of other qualities to raise a child well, it only takes the barest common sense to keep them alive and unharmed. Does anyone really need to be told that shotguns and toddlers don’t mix? Or that if it is illegal for you to have something, and your child acts that very thing out in front of someone, you’re almost guaranteed to loose all your kids and go to jail. I don’t believe there’s anything in the universe worth more than your children or freedom, not even a big ol’ fat bowl and a shotgun

wow i have been reading alot of the comments on here, and it seems there are alot of people that are just stupid and close-minded leaving comments on here. Pot does have good medical benifits for people with certain diseases. Now, the reason tat it is illegal is three main ones. the first is that the government hasnt figured out how to tax it. the second is when they DO figure out to tax it, they dont know how to pitch it towards the conservative side of the coutry to allow that kind of a law to pass, and third of all, if it is legalized we will probably have an increase of DUI’s, and yes DUI’s can be due to something else besides alcohol. Any substance abuse related accident, assualt, murder etc. is usually classified as a “substance abuse” inccident. I am also willing to bet that most of you don’t know that back when Clinton was president, there was a bill that made it all the way up to him, to leaglize pot, but he vetoed it, to keep his image. On another note, Obama has already stated that if that same bill comes his way, he will aprove it. So, maybe pot isn’t as bad as everyone thinks it is. Although it’s not as great as alot of people would like to think either. Everything has it good and bad sides, and alot of people tend to forget that.
