Inverness, Florida (Tampa Bay Chanell 10)– Deputies arrested an Inglis man Wednesday on charges he was “cooking meth” inside a car they caught speeding at 71 mph down the street in Homosassa.
According to the arrest affidavit, when deputies stopped Jerry McKay, 23, they looked inside the passenger side window and saw a jug and a garbage bag with a twisted top. They also smelled a strong odor of ammonia emanating from the car. The also say the driver had a syringe in his pants pocket.
