Do Your Homework, Get a Re-weed

Sorry for the crappy headline everyone. I’ve been doing this for five months now, so this was bound to happen. But if we hold hands, sing a song and sway together through this story about a mother who used marijuana as a reward for her son for finishing his homework, I’m sure we’ll get through it together.
HANOVER, Pa. – A 13-year-old boy told police his mother required him to do his homework first thing when he got off the school bus, then smoked marijuana with him as a reward.
The mother said she had been smoking marijuana with her son since he was 11, usually as a reward, according to court documents.
The police interview came after officers executed a search warrant at the woman’s home last weekend and seized marijuana, an array of drug paraphernalia and $600 in cash that she said belonged to a drug dealer, court documents said.
Mrs. Chong could not be reached for comment.
Of course, the story doesn’t say how police found out through this little boy that his mother had the Reefer Madness. I’m sure he turned his paper or something and then asked the teacher, “Well don’t I get a hit? Come on puff puff give, Mrs. Applewhite.”
The mother, whose real name is Amanda Lynn Livelsberger, faces a variety of drug charges including possession of marijuana, corruption of a minor and posession with intent to distribute. She will also be sent to her jail cell for a “time out.”
