Dumb Criminals

Unchecked

If you’re going to commit check fraud, don’t. That’s probably the most sound advice I have ever given to humanity.

A woman in Cincinnati was arrested for trying to pass some bad checks at a credit union for police officers, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The words “Cincinnati Police Credit Union” must have been written on the front of the building. Unless the whole thing was just a front, in which case I’m wondering if I can be charged with interfering in a police investigation.

The woman said she needed the money for drugs and even tried to pass bad checks at Bingo halls while posing as a sheriff’s deputy. Looks her number’s up now.
