I know a man who called the police on himself when he realized he had just sold cocaine to a 16 year old girl. He was ashamed and suddenly devastated at the person he had become. Sometimes they call the police on themselves because they want to be done with drugs and there is no help for them out there unless it is court ordered. Think about it.
The man I know is no dummy, he has been drug free for 13 years, thanks to 12 steps and now owns a thriving car dealership. He speaks to kids regularly at high schools, out of a need to pay back the community he feels he wronged.
People who use drugs are not bad just because they use drugs. They have an illness and need compassion and help the way any ill person does. Some are bad to begin with just as some non-drug users are. So educate yourselves and stop letting the propaganda machine do your thinking for you!

I don’t understand why anyone would be surprised to read this story. Crack-heads are stupid. They do things that are stupid and irrational. They’ll pick up a phone and start talking to Gandhi. They’ll ask their dog to get them a screwdriver, and then yell at them when they don’t. They’ll call the cops when they get bad crack. No story here. Move along.

Sounds like she was sick of drug laws and was making a statement. It may be stupid to do the drugs but its her body. Someone ripped her off and she was asking the policeman to do the job that they really should be doing instead of busting her azz. I don’t think this is a dumb criminal… more like a highly anoyed criminal with no options. Probably commits suicide and die’s in prison. Dissapearing as many do just like the drug czar wants.

in all honesty, it makes sense, she wanted her crack, and a policeman seemed to be the right choice. Since they protect and serve… shouldn’t they help get lost possessions back? and aside from that, how was he protecting her? she had a stupid habit, given, but its a right to do as you want… it is, er maybe, was a free country, folks.
