This falling asleep while committing a crime thing keeps happening again, again, and again. Does America need just one giant melatonin tablet dropped in their neighborhood water supply so they get enough sleep every night?
This time, some kidnappers fell asleep on the job, according to the Local.
The kidnappers took their victims to a barricaded hotel room and demanded money for their safe return and a key to the mini-bar.
The kidnappers fell asleep around six hours in, giving the victims time enough to escape and call police. That way, they were refreshed and well-rested when police arrived to through them in jail.
