Awhile back, we reported on the naughty behavior of one of NASA’s astronauts who traveling cross country in a set of diapers to kidnap and assault a fellow astronaut because she was in love a fellow astronaut? Her lawyer has step in to save the day and has insisted his client was unequivalent not wearing a diaper at the time of the assault.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Former astronaut Lisa Nowak didn’t wear diapers during her 950-mile road trip to confront a romantic rival, her lawyer said Friday, disputing one of the more bizarre details to emerge from the NASA love triangle.

“The biggest lie in this preposterous tale that has been told is that my client drove from Houston, Texas, to Orlando, Florida, nonstop, wearing a diaper,” Donald Lykkebak said after filing motions to suppress evidence in Nowak’s criminal case. “That is an absolute fabrication.”

You know, I’m no lawyer but if your client is accused of assaulting and kidnapping another woman while wearing a diaper, her pee-pee drawers are probably the last thing the jury wants you to produce in court.

The story reports, however, that it was noted in the police report. Maybe everyone just wanted to picture her in diapers. Maybe all of America just as an adult diaper fetish.

Meanwhile, Nowak has pled not guilty to the charges and her trial is scheduled for September. She is also no longer an astronaut, which is sad because sending her up to space would have made for a bitching reality show.
