A Not-So-Capitol Idea

People who go out of their way to make a threat against a political leader known to people who have the ability to throw you in jail is stupid. Not knowing your basic civics at the same time is the topper.
One man learned that the President doesn’t actually work in the Capitol building the hard way, according to CNN.
A man actually drove up to the Capitol building with a rifle in his vehicle in plain sight. I’ll bet he wasn’t even wearing his seat belt.
He then went up to a barricade surrounding the Capitol building and told officials that he had a package for President Obama. Not only was his idea dumb, but he didn’t even get the building right. Something tells me he works for the U.S. Postal Service.

If the guy had registered the rifle, there would have been no problems (2nd amendment rights). They may have interogated him for a few hours, may have fined him, but he would not likely have been arrested.
