Dropping Names on Your Own Foot

Identity theft has taken on a new form recently by arresting suspects using other names and personal information when they are charged at the scene of a crime. What’s in a name, though? Well in this case, it’s first degree murder and vehicular homicide.
According to the AP, a man used the name of a wanted murderer during his arrest for some unpaid parking tickets.
Police stopped someone during a traffic stop and the driver gave police a false name. Police ran a check on the name and it turns out the name was wanted for vehicular homicide. Whoopsie! Someone made an oopsie!
The man gave police his real name. He said he did it because he had some outstanding parking tickets. He must not have been very committed to his principals to fight that hard for his accusations.
So kids, remember, always be honest with a cop but if you have to give them a fake name, make sure the name is not one of a crook, so never tell them you’re Michael Vick.

Bit harsh? He’s probably like me and sitting at a desk waiting for something to happen.
And geoff, don’t type in caps, IT’S REALLY ANNOYING, especially when you can’t even start your name with a capital. Remember; on the internet no one can hear you shouting like an idiot.
Oh and have a great day!
