Dumb Criminals

Oh Helicopter

ONE OF LIFE’S LITTLE LESSONS #809 - Your name always tell people who are whether you’re a captain of industry, a civil servant to the state or an idiot who burglarizes a helicopter and leaves his identification at the scene of the crime.

NEWARK, N.J. (CBS3.com) A Delaware man was arrested after allegedly vandalizing a hospital helicopter Sunday.

Police said Ian Furbush, 20, was arrested after allegedly ransacking a helicopter parked on a helipad at the Christiana Medical Center in Newark.

A pilot notified police after noticing damage on the chopper at about 6 a.m.

So, what’s the problem? The guy left his grocery store name badge at the scene, so not only did they know who he was but also where he worked. The only way it could have been more shameful is if it was one of those badges that read “Hello my name is…”.

Police believe he broke into the helicopter to search of drugs. Go figure.

They also estimate he caused $30,000 worth of damages to the helicopter and $25,000 to the medical equipment. Helicopter damage: $30,000. Medical equipment damage: $25,000. Leaving your name tag at the scene for police, the news media and some dumbass third-rate blog to discover and announce to the world: brainless.

HA! That’s hilarious! I love the use of the Mastercard add with brainless where Mastercard usually puts priceless. This criminal was pretty brainless.
