Cardboard Cops Deterring Criminals?
Oh, those crazy Brits, what won’t they try? Their newest strategy in the fight against crime seems to be using cardboard cutouts of police officers placed strategically in order to stop crime.
And what’s worse? It seems to be working. The cutouts are reducing “gas-and-go” crimes, and thus far only one cutout has been stolen.
Samantha weighs in on the matter:
So, has British policing sunk to a new low?
First, they have no guns, then they put up public surveillance cameras to deter crime, and now they are using cardboard pictures.
Really, how dumb are Britain’s criminals to be fooled by pieces of paper?
I’m beginning to see Sherlocke Holmes in a new light. Perhaps that character wasn’t so amazingly brilliant if Britain has felons that idiotic.
