One Dropped Call

How many times do we have to report this before it sinks in? And don’t answer that, by the way. That’s a rhetorical question.
A robbery suspect got fingered after leaving his cell phone at the scene, according to WPBF.com.
The phone he left even had pictures of himself on it. Does this guy not have any friends to take pictures of for his contact list?
Police issued a warrant for the suspect and the suspect’s cell phone carrier charged him for roaming.

I think these criminals might have a law-abiding heart. We have a law in my state that says that “Motorists with criminal intent must stop at the city limits and telephone the chief of police as he is entering town”.
I presume that criminals living in town must leave and come back to comply with this law.

Ok, if I’m going to go out and commit a robbery, I’m not going to be whipping out my phone while I’m doing it. I mean, really. If you get a call while you’re in the middle of committing a serious crime, let it go. That’s what voicemail is for.
Robber: FAIL.

[Suspect walks into bank] “Give me the money!” [phone rings] “Hey! Yeah, its going great! Just robbing a bank right now, so call back later.”
Seriously, why would his phone be out?

Similar story…someone who was staying with us entered the house with a key and a friend and proceeded to ramshack the house as if it were burglarized yet the whole time this was going on his phone called ours and left a voicemail recording the entire thing including a confession…
