My stepsister took her two small children and a bag of chocolate candy to a church office that wouldn't pay my mom's company for some work they had done. They told her that it would be awhile before they could write her a check as the person who did that was in a meeting. She told them that was fine and she would wait for it. She sat down, gave the kids the bag of candy, and had a check in fifteen minutes! Very savvy lady! Don’t laugh about small hungry children being used as weapons!
