Why is it when mankind makes great contributions for their fellow man that allow us to create marvelous things (computers) and talk across oceans without having to travel there (telephone) or see things we would never normally be able to see (the Internet) that their fellow man has to #*$& it up (porno, phone sex, more porno)? The same goes for eBay.

MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP)  — A would-be customer, shopping on eBay for a new GPS for his car, found one that fit the bill a little too perfectly: It’s the one that was stolen from him.

Danial Rangkar, 25, of Great Neck, was awaiting arraignment Monday on a charge of criminal possession of stolen property after allegedly trying to sell not only the victim’s stolen GPS device, but dozens of other electronic items including laptop computers, digital cameras, iPods, cellphones and other hand-held communications devices.

The name of his attorney was not immediately available.

If he’s anything like his attorney, chances are he’s being represented by I.M.A. Doofus.

Of course, there’s some weird irony in the fact that he found his GPS system. That’s like running out of milk when you live next door to a dairy or getting lost on the way to the map store or losing your home and having to move into a bus station. That last one was a little personal.

Rangkar also had several other items for sale on eBay and th esite even called him a “power seller.” I’m sure they’ll be sad to lose him. Now they’ll have to go back to selling “Dukes of Hazzard” lunchboxes and wads of gums that were once chewed by Leonard Nimoy.
