A Trolley Folly

Always know your surroundings. It’s important to know where you are at all times and whether or not you were wearing pants when you left your point of origin.
One thief thankfully remembered to wear his pants but forgot he was pushing his stolen goods in front of police who were looking for him, according to Adeladie Now.
The suspect broke into a “sporting club” and stole everything from beer to more beer. Something tells me this would play a factor in their capture.
As police surveyed the scene, the suspect shuffled into their field of view at the scene pushing his stolen goods along in a cart. So not only did he make the police’s job easier by being in the wrong place at the right time, but he also provided them with an easy way to transport the evidence back to the jail.

If at first the Police don’t catch you, walk past the scene of the crime until they do. Smart!
