Some teachers do more than just teach children how to read, write and conjugate Spanish verbs. They can do some magnificent things. They can inspire them to create their own beautiful works of art. They can inspire them to cure diseases, treat the impoverished and improve the quality of life on Earth. They can inspire them to stand up for themselves and the things they believe in, and change the world for the better. Some other teachers…um…don’t.
According to The Smoking Gun, former teacher Elizabeth Logan of Oregon is facing felony charges for stealing a student’s coat and trying to sell it on eBay where it was discovered by the victimized student’s mother.
Oh, I smell a catfight. They are women, hear them meow.
Logan is accused of stealing the coat from a eight-year old girl. Oh that’s low. Stealing from an eight year old. Finally Carlos Mencia has someone to look down upon.
The mother of the girl went looking for a new coat on eBay and found a very similar looking one for sale, which started the day after the coat disappeared. Someone won’t be getting any A++ in their feedback.
