Fool’s Gold

This post isn’t intended to be a knock on the hard working men and women of the U.S. Postal Service. It’s also not intended to help them either.
The AP reported that one postal worker got caught pawning some gold he stole from the mail to the pawn shop that sold it.
Now in the postal worker’s defense, there is no way he could have known that was the same pawn shop that mailed it. I mean it’s not like packages come with return addresses and it’s not like being a postal worker means you’re required to read in order to get a job as one.
He even tried to sell it for around $300 when the pawn shop listed its value at around $1,000. That’s also not his fault because postal workers aren’t required to know a lot of math in order to be one.
