One Sad Clown

Everyone likes a clown except if it’s the kind of clown that steals your credit card and tries to use it fraudulently at an ATM machine. No one likes that kind of clown. He’s like the clown that pants you at your fifth birthday party, and passed out drunk in the kiddie pool.
ARCATA, Ca. (Times-Standard) — A man in a clown mask who allegedly tried to withdraw money from a Valley West ATM sparked a 90-minute standoff early Monday afternoon.
Officer Bob Martinez of the Arcata Police Department said that the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Aaron Ray Holland, was first reported by a passing motorist, wearing a clown mask and pumping gas at the Chevron station on Giuntoli Lane.
He was later reported by bank employees attempting to withdraw money from a Coast Central Credit Union ATM, one block away and still wearing the clown mask, said Martinez. Holland had stolen a number of bank and credit cards and was attempting to use them, officials said.
As stupid as that might sound, apparently Holland had a choice between the clown mask, a Darth Vader mask and a vintage Mr. Spock mask signed by DeForest Kelley.
Police also believe he had accomplices since witnesses at the credit union said they saw 40-50 people exit the vehicle behind him.

Why would you call the cops because a clown is pumping gas?
