Usually, we cover the insane and bizarre actions of criminals whose intelligence or lack thereof gets them in trouble. This one is different because the people who committed the crime haven’t been though and it still has us scratching our heads.
Someone stole a giant Ronald McDonald statue, according to the Denver Post.
And this wasn’t one of the many, many statues sitting in front of McDonald’s across the state of Colorado grinning that creepy grin and its arm draped over the top of the bench, inviting you to sit next to him and just when you’re at your most vulnerable…he grabs you. I’m on to their little game.
This statue was in front of a Ronald McDonald House. So these thieves aren’t just dumb. They’re evil.

“Hello, I just wanted to let you know that… I’m about to go hold up… umm… First National Bank. You… umm… might wanna go stop me.”
“So, you haven’t held them up yet?”
“Umm, no, sir.”
“And your calling us to tell us that you’re about to go hold them up?”
“Umm, yes, sir.”
“When will you hold them up?”
“I’m leaving as soon as I hang up here.”
“Alrighty, we’ll be right over! Thank you for cooperation!”
“Your welcome.”
Hey, after all the stupidity I’ve seen from criminals, I wouldn’t put it past some idiot like this!
