Taking the Cake

It’s amazing what some people will do for cake, like set themselves up for data theft and causing a massive national security breach.
Officials in Germany cracked the biggest data theft case of all time when they learned the people who committed it were trying to steal a Christmas cake, according to the Local.
They attempted their caper by switching the labels on two packages, one of which contained the data that was meant for a newspaper editor. Common mistake, it’s not like he would read any of that stuff.
The editor got the packaged, realized what he received and sent word to the authorities. He also asked about the cake. He’s in the newspaper business, so he must be starving.
The missing data became a national scandal and the biggest data theft in German history. In honor of the massive national security breach, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security flew their terror alert level chart at half-mast.
