You’re No June Cleaver

Shocking cannot describe the reaction you will have to this story. Of course if you’re heatless, soulless and more uncaring about a clump of wet dirt than the state of the world we live in, you might find it funny. But to the rest of you, just read it…
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Boston Herald) — A Rhode Island mom turned shoplifting into a family affair, cops say, making her 13-year-old and two other teens to do her dirty work at a North Attleboro Target and ditching the kids as cops closed in.
Authorities held Lorie A. Folcarelli, 43, of Providence on $3,000 cash bail after she pleaded innocent Wednesday in Attleboro District Court, denying all knowledge of the sticky-fingered caper. All were charged with larceny, while Folcarelli is also charged with driving without a license and contributing to the delinquency of minors, said North Attleboro police Detective Michael Elliott. “She claims she didn’t have any knowledge of what they were doing.”
How cruel and uncaring can one mother be? Not only does she get her kids to shoplift but she leaves them at the scene. Someone won’t be getting a card on Mothers’ Day.
The only way this could get worse was if she even left her little dog at the scene. This just in, The Boston Herald reports the woman even left her dog at the scene.
Dear God in a kayak. The only way this could get worse is if it’s happened before. This just in, the Herald also reports a woman in New Hampshire is accused of attempting to knock over a jewelry store with her four kids. I really need a hug from my Mom right now.

Sad enough, I know alot of peple in school right now, or I HAVE known people who have mothers or fathers who are this heartless- and some even worse. I seriously know a genuinely nice girl right now whose dad earns $500 a week as a truck driver, but she wears hole-ridden clothes and has to do every chore in her house or she gets yelled at or hit. Even worse, her step mom right now used to be an actual friend of hers- and is only a year older than her. Her dad spends obscene amounts of money on her GF, but can’t apparently give a cent to his daughter. Sigh.

God, parents can be so warped sometimes. And if she was trying to avoid getting arrested, it may have been a better idea to take the kids with her. Kids have big mouths and cannot keep secrets. And faced with police they will invariably tell them everything they want to know. She’s more dumb for leaving the kids than she is for having them do the shoplifting!
